Armenia’s DM: My statement fits in government’s program of priorities
Statement voiced in the USA fits in the program of priorities of the Armenian government, Armenia’s Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan stated in Yerablur Military Pantheon today.
He said joint program is being carried out with the government in the defense sector.
“Our government is implementing joint program in defense sector and what I have stated fitted in the program of priorities of the government. Let no one doubt it. I am really surprised what our people are surprised at,” Tonoyan said.
He said during his visit to the USA a wide-range of issues have been discussed, an arrangement has been reached to enhance the cooperation in peacekeeping activity for which Armenia will receive assistance.
Earlier today, Armenia’s PM hailed Tonoyan’s statement, adding that if he had made other one he would have been released of post.
