Pashinyan: Armenia sees relations with Azerbaijan and neighbor countries in sidelines of peace agenda
Armenia’s relations with Georgia and Iran are on a high level, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the PACE today, asked about Armenia’s relations with neighbor countries.
Armenia has a high level dialogue with these countries which cannot be said about Azerbaijan and Turkey with who Armenia does not have diplomatic relations.
“You all know why Armenia does not have diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan. In case of Turkey, this country ties relations with Armenia with ones with Azerbaijan. While Armenia states about readiness to establish relations with Turkey without pre-conditions,” Pashinyan stated.
Speaking about relations with Azerbaijan, Pashinyan stressed that Armenia imagines the relations with that country in the sidelines of peace agenda.
“We imagine our relations with Azerbaijan and neighbor countries in the sidelines of peace agenda and are happy that during its activity our government managed to put the peace agenda on the table of negotiations,” the PM said.
