Discussions over gas price formation held: Gazprom official

Currently working discussions are being held over the complex issues of natural gas price formation, official from Gazprom Armenia told Aysor.am, adding that the issue of savings is also being viewed.

“After the completion of negotiations and working discussions additional information will be provided,” the official of the company said.

Earlier, energy infrastructures and natural resources minister Garegin Baghramyan told Hraparak.am that an arrangement has been reached with the Russian side to present agreement by July 1 for reviewing mechanisms of gas price formation on the border for the upcoming five years.

Asked on account of what the prices for consumers have not been raised, Baghramyan said the issue is being discussed under the supervision of deputy PM Mher Grigoryan and added that it is being done on the account of Gazprom company’s savings.
