CC judge candidate believes he is able to contribute to the high-speed development of Armenian right
The meetings of the candidate for the post of judge of Armenia’s Constitutional Court Gor Hovhannisyan continue in the parliament. Today the candidate met with the lawmakers of the Bright Armenia faction. Speaking to reporters the nominee said that at the meeting with the lawmakers issues of legal nature were discussed.
“I think the impression is good, the conversation passed in very warm atmosphere, I hope I left good impression too,” the said.
As to comment that the parliamentary majority My Step faction, is not going to vote for his candidacy, Hovhannisyan said he has not heard such thing. “I have not heard such a thing. I see no reason for not electing me,” the candidate added.
He added that if the parliament votes against his candidacy he will accept it as rejection of his help as the right is rapidly developing in the whole world while in Armenia the developing tendencies of Constitutional right are very slow.
“I think I can help to develop the Armenian right with higher tempos and I offer my assistance in this regard to the state,” he said.
Earlier the candidate also met with the lawmakers of Prosperous Armenia faction.
