Current ruling force not to fight, to scratch for keeping the power: Nikol Pashinyan
Armenian government has no need to take anything from anyone, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the reporters today.
“Today the Armenian government does not need devious political supporters as it acts with the mandate received from people and will act as long as it will have this mandate,” he said.
Pashinyan stressed that they will not keep the power by different manipulations.
Speaking about the situation over Ararat Cement factory, Pashinyan said that it is the matter of the employees and the employer.
As to whether after the election of Sasun Mikayelyan in the post of the chairman of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union the latter has again been politicized, Pashinyan said, “such thing is excluded.”
“The first issue I have raised is that the Union must not be involved in any political processes. Yerkrapah Volunteer Union started having problems from the moment it was used by non-legitimate authorities to keep their power,” Pashinyan said.
“We will not fight, we will not scratch, falsify for keeping the power,” he said, adding that Sasun Mikayelyan has stated about leaving the post of the head of Civil Contract party’s administration.
Asked whether he sees him in this post, Pashinyan said, “It is usually said 'never say never', but if you have noticed, I have never even been a candidate for the post since the creation of the party and I hope I will not be.”
