Confiscations made from ex-MP Mihran Poghosyan’s mansion and former office

Special Investigation Service officials have conducted search in the mansion and former office of ex-lawmaker Mihran Poghosyan, confiscations have been made, SIS spokesperson Marina Ohanjanyan told Aysor.am.

She said that the search has been conducted in the sidelines of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case studied at the SIS.

Asked what confiscations have been made, Ohanjanyan said the information is not for public in the interests of preliminary investigation.

Earlier today, Poghosyan’s office released a statement reporting about the search in the mansion and former office of the ex-MP.

On April 15 Yerevan court of general jurisdiction satisfied the petition of the SIS investigator to arrest the ex-lawmaker who is accused of big number of embezzlements that caused grave harm to the state.

Search has been declared for him, as Poghosyan is not in the country.
