Criminal case relating to Robert Kocharyan, Seyran Ohanyan, Yuri Khachaturov and Armen Gevorgyan sent to prosecutor with accusatory conclusion
The Armenian Special Investigation Service has completed the preliminary investigation of March 1-2, 2008 developments in Yerevan in a separate part of the criminal case.
The criminal case with the accusatory conclusion against Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan, head of chief staff of the Armenian armed forces Seyran Ohanyan, deputy defense minister Yuri Khachaturov, head of president’s staff Armen Gevorgyan has been sent to the corresponding prosecutor for addressing it to court.
Armenia’s second president is charged under two articles for overthrowing constitutional order and receiving big amount of bribe. Seyran Ohanyan, Yuri Khachaturov are charged for overthrowing constitutional order. Armen Gevorgyan is charged with assisting in overthrowing constitutional order, getting big amount of bribe and legalization of illegally acquired property.
