No country should interfere into Armenia’s domestic affairs: Alen Simonyan on Russia’s support to Kocharyan
No country should interfere into domestic affairs of Armenia, NA vice speaker Alen Simonyan told the reporters today, referring to calls of some Russian mass media in Armenia addressed to Armenia’s PM to adopt neutral position over Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan’s case.
As to whether he notices support of Russia to Kocharyan, Simonyan said, “I do not think “Russian support” expression is proper to use here. It is Armenia’s domestic affair. Just like we do not interfere into domestic affairs of any country, no one should interfere into domestic affairs of Armenia as well,” he said.
He also stressed that having contacts with Russian colleagues he may say that there is no definite attitude toward Kocharyan’s case.
