Artsakh Republic’s recognition by U.S. Colorado State Senate victory of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trio: Davit Babayan
Recognition of the Artsakh’s independence by U.S. Colorado Senate is another victory of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trio, spokesperson for Artsakh president Davit Babayan told Aysor.am, adding that it was possible only thanks to the collaboration of the trio.
“We thank all those who contributed to this victory. This is a symbolizing victory as Colorado State recognized Artsakh’s independence on April 24, on the 104th anniversary of the Armenian genocide,” he said.
Babayan stressed that such victories will be of continuous nature.
“We have another program to be carried out by the trio. Artsakh is becoming more recognizable, this process has been intensified, consequently, there is no alternative to the recognition of Artsakh as a democratic and sovereign country. No matter how much Azerbaijan wants, it will not succeed in impeding this process,” he noted.
Yesterday U.S. Colorado State’s Senate unanimously adopted a bill on declaring April 24 as Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.
ANCA reports that with the same bill the Colorado Senate recognized Artsakh Republic and cultural genocide in Nakhijevan.
