Prosperous Armenia faction MPs boycott Economic Affairs Committee’s session
A task group will be set up to discuss bill on making changes in the law on State Fee, chairman of Economic Affairs Standing Committee Babken Tunyan stated at the session of the committee.
“We will set up a task group. It will initially involve members of our committee, if members of other committees would like they may also be involved,” Tunyan said, adding that representatives of cement producing factories, specialists of construction sector as well as independent economists may be included in the group.
Prosperous Armenia faction lawmaker Mikael Melkumyan said that the faction is for thorough discussion of the issue, but their faction will not participate in them, adding that Gagik Tsarukyan is not a shareholder in this issue.
“Whatever is decided, the responsibility lays on the political majority. We will not participate in the discussions. We will accept whatever you decide,” Melkumyan said.
In response Tunyan said that if the faction changes its opinion it may join the works of the task group.
“The life will show, thank you, we leave the hall,” Melkumyan stressed.
Other lawmaker of the faction Naira Zohrabyan said that political majority bears responsibility for all the possible consequences.
After it the PAP MPs left the hall.
