Investigative actions in sidelines of Davit Sanasaryan’s case carried out: attorneys speak up about the case

Certain investigative actions have been carried out in the sidelines of criminal case involving head of State Control Service Davit Sanasaryan and other officials of the service, Sanasaryan’s attorney Inessa Petrosyan told Aysor.am.

“There is some pause now, no investigative actions are being carried out. They have done their work, they reached their goal and brought charges against Sanasaryan and suspended his authorities. The rest I guess is not important for them,” the attorney expressed her opinion.

Petrosyan though did not specify what investigative actions have been carried out.

As to confrontation between Gevorg Khachatryan and Davit Sanasaryan, the attorney said she cannot answer the question as preliminary investigation is underway. “Of course some actions are being carried out but I would not like to give any details,” she told Aysor.am.

Gevorg Khachatryan’s attorney Siranush Harutyunyan told Aysor.am that confrontation between Khachatryan and another involved person took place but it was not Sanasaryan.

She first refuted information as if her defendant cooperated with the preliminary investigation body, describing them as ‘market talks.’

Samvel Adyan’s attorney refused to speak and provide information, saying that his defendant does not want to unveil anything about the case. “It is his right and I have to respect it,” the attorney said.

Sanasaryan’s attorney claims that the case against Davit Sanasaryan is made up.

“The charges are being brought by a attorney general who still continues criminal persecution against Andrias Ghukasyan. I have nothing to say. My opinion about him has not changed. He must leave this system,” the attorney said.
