Border guard not only work but a mission: Pashinyan congratulates NSS Border Guard Troops on their holiday

Border is one of the mysterious phenomenon that exists, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today at the event dedicated to the NSS border guard troops.

“Just one line separates you from your home. On one side you feel at home, on the other very far from it. By saying Republic of Armenia we first of all mean our borders, as these borders decide our place on this planet, our place under the sun, our future,” the head of the government said.
He stressed that border guard service has a very significant mission.

“I want to stress that being a border guard is not just a work, it is a mission. Today this mission is being carried out with honor by our border guard troops. Today in Armenia we de facto have such definition as border guard village or settlement. In this regard the Day of Border Guard is not only holyday of NSS border guard troops but the whole armed forces, people, as they are the ones who keep the security of our border, children and the future of our country,” Pashinyan stressed.

The prime minister thanked the NSS border guard troops, Armenian armed forces and police forces as well as Russian border guard troops and residents of bordering villages for keeping Armenia’s border secure.
