About combining posts of NSS director and AFF chairman

I think I manage to combine these two posts. It will not be right for me to give the assessment. Of course, football is in the center of attention, we have a lot to do. We have started serious reforms in the Armenian football.

About development of the Armenian football

As a chairman of the AFF I pay a great attention to the development of mass football, junior football. We need to build football schools, academies, especially in regions. We do carry out serious works. This year 31 small stadiums will be built in Armenia’s regions.

We have conducted negotiations with the Defense Ministry over creation of Army’s Central Sports Club which will give an opportunity to the young football players not to lose the years of draft but in parallel to mandatory service play football.

About moving “Alashkert” club to Martuni

Unfortunately, previously different people privatized stadiums. Currently we are negotiating with the owner of Martuni stadium to buy it or take it. We have promised assistance to the owner amounting to approximately 250 million AMD.

About fining AFF after Gibraltar game

Initially the AFF’s fine was to be 20,000 Euros, but the Federation was fined by 5 or 6,000. The fine has been paid from the means of the Federation.

About national team

We must develop the junior football, have many football players. It is necessary to engage young footballers. It is necessary to refresh the team. We must make a revolution in the Armenian national football team.

About dismissed footballers

I try not to interfere into general coach and coach team works much. I do not interfere into such affairs. There are no vetoes in the federation over concrete people.

About chief coach

The chief coach will continue his tenure, but the possibility of replacing him exists.

About Hrazdan stadium

Hrazdan stadium is the stadium of our victories, but the world moves forward and football in particular. Even in case of capital renovation Hrazdan stadium will not correspond to international criteria. Even if to spend big sums on it, the UEFA will not give permission to conduct international matches there.

About having new stadium

Building new stadium is a very expensive fun, we all understand that the state will not allocate money for it. Today we are negotiating with different investors for them to build stadium in Armenia.

About CONIFA Eurocup 2019 in Artsakh

I really attach great significance to the conduction of such cup in Artsakh. AFF will support the conduction of the event. I do not exclude my participation in the event.
