Artsakh to attentively follow Turkish-Azerbaijani joint military drills: Davit Babayan
Artsakh is attentively following the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk 2019 drills to be held in Azerbaijan May 1-3 in collaboration with Turkey, spokesperson of Artsakh Republic president Davit Babayan told Aysor.am, saying that they undertake all the necessary steps.
He said the joint drills are quite symbolizing in political regard.
“First of all the slogan of drills is quite interesting. It is in the context of aggressive philosophy of Turks, Pan-Turkism. This must be another lesson for us not to forget the reality. We must not be cut from the reality, as Turkey and Azerbaijan are conducting anti-Armenian policy,” he said.
Davit Babayan stressed that the Armenian side must be united for neutralizing Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem and have powerful army and conduct smart geopolitical policy.
“By boosting relations with Russia, Iran, Europe and the USA, maintaining balanced relations with all of them, we must manage to stay in favorable condition for us. We must always be ready for military actions, conduct right geo-political course and everything will be normal,” Babayan said.
