My Step does not hurry to express position over situation with Gagik Tsarukyan
The consultation at NA’s speaker’s room with the participation of My Step faction lawmakers ended. Speaking to reporters, lawmaker Ruben Rubinyan stated that they have referred to the upcoming working issues.
“Together with these issues we have also discussed the proposal of the Civil Contract party. It was a general discussion but it was not faction’s session. Soon the faction will conduct its session and will make final conclusion,” Rubinyan said.
Civil Contract party has applied to the prosecutor’s office and NA speaker with request to suspend the parliamentary authorities of head of Prosperous Armenia faction Gagik Tsarukyan.
Makunts stated earlier that the NA speaker will make a statement over it.
Rubinyan though stressed that today the NA speaker is not expected to come up with statement. He said Tasurkyan’s statements give room for some confusions.
Asked why My Step faction has not initiated the process and has not raised the issue on its own, Rubinyan said everything has its time and it is not right to discuss the steps of others.
As to why My Step faction has not expressed its position over the issue yet, the lawmaker said, “Before making any political decision it is necessary to discuss all the circumstances and get convinced that everything is being done in the limits of logic and legitimacy.”
