Civil Contract’s report relating to lawmaker Gagik Tsarukyan sent to SIS
The report of the Civil Contract party about criminal actions by lawmaker Gagik Tsarukyan has been sent to the Special Investigation Service, Attorney General Artur Davtyan told the reporters today.
“Examination will be conducted with the results of which the preliminary investigatory body will give legal assessments,” Davtyan said.
Secretary of the executive body of the Civil Contract party Suren Sahakyan submitted report to the Attorney General Artur Davtyan with the request to start criminal persecution against lawmaker Gagik Tsarukyan.
The party representative demands suspension of parliamentary activity of the lawmaker, as according to the law, member of parliament cannot deal with entrepreneurship.
The attorney general refrained from giving any assessments, stressing that with it he may constrain the official examining the case.
“As of now I have seen a report about crime which must be examined and which must get criminal-legal assessment,” Davtyan said.
