Volume of investments not of desirable level yet: minister

Volume of investments have not reached the desirable level yet, Armenia’s economic development and investments minister Tigran Khachatryan told the reporters today.

The minister said that they are doing everything for the growth of the investment volume.

“The circumstance that we are conducting discussions with each investor and initiator of investment projects the issues that need to be solved for them to make the decision speaks about the efforts we take,” he said.

Tigran Khachatryan noted that when they speak about investments they should not forget that it depends both on formation of favorable environment for foreign investments and on their behavior.

“It depends on how ready we, as members of society, are to create savings and address them to corresponding investments,” the minister said.
