Economic activeness for three months made 6,5%: minister

Some 6,5% economic activeness has been registered for three months, Economic Development and Investments Minister Tigran Khachatryan told the reporters today.

“It is on average comparable with the index of the past three years,” the minister said.

He said the 6,5 economic activeness is the result of growth of the volume of industrial product by two percent points which is low as compared with the average index of the past three years.

He said that cultivating industry has registered a rapid growth from 7,7 to 8%.

“The domestic trade turnover has also registered high index. We had over 10% exceeding economic activeness in this sector,” Tigran Khachatryan said.

The minister also said that the growth of construction as compared with the first three months of the past year made 10,8% while the agricultural sector registered same volume as in 2018.
