Armenia, Artsakh cooperate on highest level even without alliance: Davit Babayan
The partnership between Armenia and Artsakh in military and defense sector is on the highest level. Though there is significance of the alliance, it would have neem good to have a document confirming the alliance between the two Armenian states, spokesperson for Artsakh president Davit Babayan told Aysor.am, referring to the ARF-D signature gathering initiative for establishing Armenia-Artsakh alliance. Babayan said that despite the absence of such document the cooperation still is on the highest level.
“There are different issues for political forces which are of prior significance. The issue is that a state comes up from legal viewpoint with the main accent being put on the issue. In general, each process must be within the limits of law. Any signature gathering must be held within the limits of law,” the interlocutor said.
The spokesperson said that it should be claimed that the alliance between the two states will definitely contribute to the international recognition of Artsakh.
“The time will show how much this document will contribute to the international recognition. If to approach the issue from this perspective, there are many documents where Artsakh comes up as a side. This document will just be a vector over which the works will be carried out,” Babayan said.
