One of ministries to be renamed and have additional functions: justice minister briefs on the bill at second reading
Armenia’s justice minister Artak Zeynalyan presenting today the bill on changing the government’s structure added that they have renamed the ministry of High Technology and Industry into the ministry of High Technological Industry. The minister said the functions of the ministry will also change.
Presenting the bill at the second reading, the minister said that among the added functions of the ministry is international cooperation in military-industrial sector. The minister said the ministry will be dealing with the upgrading of military-industrial complex, creation of products and their promotion in international markets.
The other changes made after the presentation of the bill at the first reading is that certain criteria have been established for appointing envoy on Diaspora issues.
According to the bill, the envoy must have higher education, be over 25, know excellent Armenian language and at least two foreign languages.
