Taking into consideration the circumstance that the request of Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan has been published by different mass media raising wide interest the Attorney General’s office decided to provide certain clarifications over the matter.
It says that the criminal case involving Robert Kocharyan has been sent to the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction with negative conclusion.
“As far as the criminal case is in the court, the Attorney General’s office is not the supervising body of the case, thus the discussion of the request is not in the limits of the authorities of the office of Attorney General,” the explanation says.
