Armenian PM remained in first season of Armenian “Game of Thrones”: Armen Ashotyan
Vice chair of the Republican party Armen Ashotyan described the PM Nikol Pashinyan’s statements at the press conference today addressed to the Republican party as ridiculous and offensive.
“What Nikol Pashinyan was saying in our address testifies that he did not become prime minister. With this press conference he put a diagnosis of his activity for a year and believe me, no one in Armenia reduces the PM’s rating as rapidly, as Nikol Pashinyan himself. I want to thank him, for his frank activity aimed to meet people’s interests and ask him to speak more and speak about everything he thinks in reality, not find words, but reveal before the Armenian people his real essence,” Ashotyan said, speaking to reporters today, before the start of new course in the political school of Republican party named after Andranik Margaryan.
He stressed that it is possible to refer to all the remarks of the PM but he would refer to those relating to Serzh Sargsyan and former authorities.
“Today, on the eve of triple holiday it is undignified to use such language and speak ironically and with disrespect about the people who contributed to the establishment of Artsakh Republic and Armenia’s statehood. It is immoral to speak in such language about a person, who for instance coordinated the operation on liberation of Shushi. This is an issue of civility and incivility to speak about a party which from the very first days of Artsakh liberation war stood in trenches,” Ashotyan said.
Ashotyan said Nikol Pashinyan’s behavior reminded him one of the well-known series the continuation of which the PM is not hurrying to shoot.
“I think Nikol Pashinyan has remained in the first season of Armenian “Game of Thrones” and does not understand that in a year he is to be shot in the 2d, 3d and 4th seasons. He does not understand that PM’s press conference must be in the following format – word – done activity,” Ashotyan stated.
