Army robbers have no moral right to speak of Karabakh issue: Pashinyan
The Armenian government cannot have any secret from the society in the Karabakh conflict settlement issue, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a news conference today.
“Each citizen of Armenia has a right to be aware of the issue on the level of expert. Our policy in this issues is transparent, open,” he said.
Speaking about the upcoming signing of EU-Azerbaijan agreement, Pashinyan said it is the matter between the two.
“Of course, it relates to us, but not directly. I have told during the meeting with the EU partners about the necessity not to distort the adopted principals over the regional situations,” he said.
As to the claims that some experts ironically treat the position that Karabakh conflict solution will be decided by the people, Pashinyan said, “In time they were saying are the people to decide who will be elected in the post of the PM? The republicans were giving interviews and laughing, they did elect. Did it happen? Yes, it did. Now we say that the people are to decide the Karabakh issue, again there are ones who say how it can happen. But it is people who are to decide, did you think that you with few corrupted persons, who robbed the army will decide the fate of Karabakh? Who are you to decide it? Yes, people will decide everything and come into terms with this reality,” Pashinyan said.
“We are heading to talks, and they say they went to sell, it is you who sold everything! Who has a moral right to accuse me of selling anything? The people who robbed the country, those who made their sons-in-law, their relatives millionaires? They do not have any moral right to speak about Karabakh issue,” Pashinyan stressed.
