Salaries of 209,000 people raised, salaries of another 200,000 to be raised after tax Code amendments

Armenia’s prime minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking at the press conference today and presenting facts stated that 47 border keeping military positions have been ensured with power, 73 positions with water supply systems, 180 positions acquired refrigerators and other 45 will be ensured soon. He also said that 36 video surveillance devices have been acquired.

he PM also stressed that menu of the soldiers has also underwent changes with a number of new products have been included.

The head of the government also said that the conscripts are ensured with high quality clothes and are allowed to have mobile phones.

The premier said Armenia has acquired SU-30 fighters and other military equipment which he cannot unveil.

Pashinyan also mentioned that  servicemen and families of killed servicemen have been provided 410 apartments, some 107 servicemen received apartments in newly built buildings.

“The next fact is that with the changes made from July 1, 2018 salaries of 209,000 people have been raised and the salaries of another 200,000 will be raised after the amendments in the Tax Code,” Pashinyan said.

The head of the government also stressed that the minimal pensions have been raised.

“The next fact is that despite the signed contract the water tariff has not been raised as a result of negotiations the government has conducted and another fact is that the electricity and gas tariffs has been reduced by 20 and 10 AMD for the insecure clusters of the population,” the premier said.
