Pashinyan against transferring Sanasaryan’s case from NSS to SIS
The case over the State Control Service director Davit Sanasaryan has twice-thrice discussed with the head of the government who proposed it to be studied at the Special Investigation Service, PM Pashinyan said at a news conference today.
“More probably, the NSS feels inconvenient regarding the doubts of objectivity of the case. I have said that I am against this decision as it may appear that we fail to examine case relating to us inside the government and give it to another who must examine the case relating to us,” Pashinyan said, adding though that if for objectiveness the case must be transferred to the SIS he does not see any issue here.
The PM stressed that his source of information about Sanasaryan’s case is not the NSS only, but members of their team, including Sanasaryan.
Pashinyan said those who will not study the case objectively will be strictly punished.
