Violations, abuses in gas and petrol sectors to be revealed and responsible to be punished

Petrol and gas markets are under our attention and most comprehensive solution will be given to the issues, chairman of the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition  Gegham Gevorgyan told the reporters after cabinet sitting today.

“We will first study the market, reveal the existing issues or abuses, and bring the guilty to responsibility,” Gevorgyan said.

He said each violation be it price reduction or growth is an issue.

The chairman of the commission did not answer the question on who are those having dominating position in the market.

“The SCPEC is apolitical structure. I cannot make any statements about political figures,” he said.

Earlier at the cabinet sitting today Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the issue of gas filling issue in gas charging stations, saying that there are people relating to politics in the market.
