Artsakh presidents ready to come to court to claim their guarantees
Incumbent president of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan and Artsakh’s second president Arkady Ghoukasyan stated that they can come to court to claim their guarantees for the release of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan on May 17, in the afternoon, lawyer Hovhannes Khudoyan stated in the court today.
Kocharyan’s lawyer also noted that if court gives possibility the presidents of Artsakh may claim their guarantees via phone communication.
Judge Davit Grigoryan though noted that the process demands signature, presence of the people and the court is obliged to inform the guarantors about their rights.
The judge gave time to clarify whether a court session may be convened on Saturday, May 18 to discuss the guarantee of the Artsakh presidents. After the break it has been clarified that court sessions cannot be convened on non-working day.
Judge Davit Grigoryan urged the lawyers to clarify whether the presidents of Artsakh may come to court to claim their guarantees on May 16, tomorrow.
Defense team member Aram Orbelyan promised to give answer tomorrow in the morning.
