Initial results of research over Amulsar exploitation to be handed to Investigative Committee in late May: Avinyan on Amulsar issue
Initial results of Hydrogeological research by Elard company will be handed to Investigative Committee in late May, deputy prime minister Tigran Avinyan told the reporters today, referring to Amulsar investment program.
“The picture will be clear in late May,” he said.
The deputy PM said that the government will make a corresponding decision based on the results of the research.
“It is necessary to wait for final answers,” Avinyan said.
“In case there are no environmental issues or in case they are controllable, the company will continue its activity,” he said.
Asked about possible impact of the case with Lydian on other future investors, the deputy PM said that the government first of all is being guided by the interests of the Armenian people.
“All the existing risks are not revealed for us, and we hope the research will give answers to all the questions,” Avinyan stressed.
