Armenia’s PM promises not to slow down Karabakh peace talks
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he does not consider it necessary to hurry up the negotiations over Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Russian Interfax reports.
“We are not going to hurry up the process, but we will not slow down it either, as there is a conflict and I do not think that it is left for oblivion,” Pashinyan told the Russian reporters.
The Armenian PM also stressed that the issue of Armenia’s recognition of Karabakh’s independence is rather sensitive.
He noted that the Karabakh issue may be settled but for it Nagorno-Karabakh must return to the table of negotiations.
