Security number one priority in Tavush: Hayk Chobanyan

The security is number one priority for us, governor of Armenia’s Tavush Hayk Chobanyan told the reporters today.

“It is so, as the situation in our region may drastically change at any moment. It will be a real blow to our homeland,” he said.

The governor stressed that any program, any initiative any investment is being viewed under this light.

“If a building is being constructed it must have a shelter, if mechanisms are being created they must work in conditions of war and emergency situations, we are obliged to do so,” the governor said.

Chobanyan stressed that everything must be done at its best.

“To ensure Tavush security we have one principle – the principle to do the best, not to do just for doing, but doing at its best, without any restrictions,” the governor stressed.

Chobanyan also stated that in the upcoming one-two months Tavush radio and TV will start operating.

“I attach great significance to this circumstance regarding the security as awareness is another element of our security. This is the reason why we have entitled all the programs Resistant Tavush and this is our message to all who live here, who want to live here and work here,” Chobanyan said.
