Guarantees for Robert Kocharyan’s release not aimed at creating additional tension: Bako Sahakyan
Presenting guarantees for the release of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan was not aimed at creating additional tension, president of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan told the reporters at the Armenian NA today.
“Just the opposite, if there was a tension this step was to loosen it,” the Artsakh president said.
Bako Sahakyan stated that the motion registers that it was not a step to put under doubt Armenia’s judicial process.
“It was just aimed at reviewing the preventive measure,” he said.
Referring to the Armenia’s PM statement about the forces which try to sow dispute between Armenia and Karabakh to provoke a war, Bako Sahakyan said that if there are such forces they should be revealed.
“If there are such goals, I too qualify it as a betrayal. I do not have such information,” the Artsakh president said.
