All for all principle must not be a way to justify impunity: Anna Naghdalyan
Armenia always stays committed to the real humanitarian actions but it does not mean to tolerate impunity especially in case of grave crimes and especially in conditions of witnessing violations of internationally accepted human rights, spokesperson of Armenia’s foreign ministry Anna Naghdalyan told the reporters today, asked whether Armenia agrees to Azerbaijani-proposed “all for all” principle which suggests exchange of all the captives and arrestees.
“Intended murder of a teenager is a grave crime in any society. So “all for all” principle must not be the way to justify the impunity and violations of humanitarian rights. The impunity of hate crimes results in the new crimes and the glorification of such crimes and making heroes of those who commit them results in grave consequences,” the spokesperson said.
“We have witnessed how a person convicted for murder was glorified after extradition only for murdering Armenian,” Naghdalyan said.
