Armenia’s SC secretary’s visit to USA lacks any content: expert

Armenia’s Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan’s visit to the United States lacks any content, expert in international affairs, political analyst Suren Sargsyan said, speaking to Aysor.am.

“He is in the United States for already 5-6 days but we do not know whether he has met with high-ranking U.S. officials. We do not even know he will hold meetings with high-ranking officials or not,” Sargsyan said.

He stressed that he is convinced that the attempts to conduct meetings were made.

“If you were not going to be received by any official at least with your counterpart, it is senseless to get to Washington or any other capital. But as far as Armen Grigoryan is still going to return to Washington from Los Angeles, I think we are to wait for another few days to see what meetings will take place and only then give assessments,” he said.
