Pashinyan adopts policy of speculating people’s factor: ARF-D SB statement

The developments of the recent days and the approaches of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan especially in the legal-judicial sector caused waving in state-public life, the statement of the ARF-D Supreme Body says.

The party registers that the unbalanced, problematic decisions of the authorities over different issues, the aggressive denial of other opinion create atmosphere of hatred and intolerance which divides the people’s collective potential.

“The fixing of traitors, conspirators in the political, public field endangers our national security, peace, Armenia-Artsakh unity and our defense system,” the statement says.

Another thing the party registers is that during the past one year the country’s political authorities had enough legitimacy and after 2018 parliamentary elections has full legitimacy to start the so much expected deep changes in all the sectors of public life, including in judicial-legal as well.

“Not having implemented the wide authorities and commitments given to the prime minister by the Constitution and Armenia’s legislation, Pashinyan adopted a strategy of speculating people’s factor,” the statement said, adding that ruining the judicial power for uncertain transitional justice goals endangers the justice system of the country.

The ARF-D stated that the situation is alarming and the wrong way will not bring to right harbor.

“First of all the authorities are responsible for the created situation and consequences. Nevertheless, no one has a right to be an observer and register how the state is being destroyed, how the not wise working style and political behavior shatter the bases of our statehood,” the statement of the party says, adding that on May 23 at 7 p.m. it invites to a rally to present its approaches for the ways out of the existing situation.
