Armenia’s Minister Khachatryan, Georgian Ambassador discuss opportunities of boosting economic cooperation

Armenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia George Saganelidze.

During the meeting the parties attached significance to the implementation of joint actions in the sectors having direct impact on welfare of the population.

Minister Khachatryan and the Ambassador discussed the upcoming economic events and circle of the meetings.

In particular, they referred to the issues on the agenda of upcoming session of the Armenian-Georgian economic cooperation intergovernmental commission, talked about the organizational issues of Armenian-Georgian business conference.

Ambassador Saganelidze briefed to the minister on some economic events in Georgia.

During the meeting the parties also exchanged ideas over the increase of volume of trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia, opportunities of implementation of regional programs.
