Judge Azaryan displays disrespect toward parliament: Mkhitar Hayrapetyan
In a civilized world after revealing plagiarism even the highest officials are not being accepted and step down and Armenia must also be part of this civilized world, head of the NA’s Education Standing Committee Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated today at the session.
“I cannot bypass Mr Azaryan’s topic [Court of Appeal judge Alexander Azaryan] as a number of events took place within the past week which do not allow me not to refer to it. First a week ago Mr Azaryan came up with the statement stressing that he will submit resignation application in two cases with the first being the resignation of the prime minister. A wide discussions elaborated over the judge’s ethics but immediately afterwards, in an interview to news.am, Azaryan said that “Children of not long ago must examine my issue”, probably he meant me and lawmakers of our committee,” Mkhitaryan said, adding that the judge may not even doubt that he may respond him in the same style but will refrain from moving to such field.
Hayrapetyan said such statements are not only disrespect toward separate lawmakers but the parliament in general.
