Armenia plays an important role in the Eurasian Economic Union: Kazakh president
Armenia plays an important role in the Eurasian Economic Union, president of Kazakhstan Kasim Zhomart Tokaev said at the meeting with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Tokayev stressed that Kazakhstan is greatly interested in enhancing friendly relations with Armenia.
“Practically, the Armenian market is of great interest for our industry. We may closely cooperate in the pre-context of Kazakhstan’s logistic opportunities,” the Kazakh president stated, offering to instruct corresponding ministries to work out list of names of products to boost trade-economic, industrial cooperation between the two countries.
Armenia’s PM in his turn noted that the economic ties between the two countries develop but at the same time stressed that the existing economic potential is not being used at its full and works should be undertaken in that direction.
“Of course we have a big field for work and I hail your proposal to instruct ministries to work on activating economic ties,” he said.
