Armenia’s economy has good mood, registers growth: Armenia’s PM
The economic development in Armenia during the past four months is positive with optimistic dynamics, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the cabinet sitting today.
He stressed that the data has been published by the National Statistical Service on May 27.
The head of the government stated that according to the data, the economic activity index reached 9,2%.
“If to compare the index with the first quarter of the year we have 7,1% GDP growth,” he stated.
Pashinyan also said that Armenia’s economy has a good mood.
“Our issue is to promote this good mood just like we have fixed through accurate capital and reach better results,” the premier said.
Pashinyan stressed that the volume of industrial product has grown by 13,2% while in the construction sector the growth was less than expected.
“I am convinced that this index will improve as the situation in the mortgage market will bring us to it,” Pashinyan said.
The PM said that the trade turnover has grown by 9%, the volume of services by 16%.
