Free Homeland party describes Samvel Babayan’s office’s statement groundless and illegal
Free Homeland party condemns spread of ungrounded and not clarified statements aimed at discrediting a person’s name and reputation.
In particular, the party referred to the statement of Samvel Babayan’s office which claimed that ex-PM of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, head of Free Homeland party, is sponsoring bands and reported about a made up crime, has nothing to do with the reality, party’s press service reported.
“Such working style not only does not fit into the principles we have adopted based on reconciliation and unity but in our view and ideas of building a lawful state,” the statement said.
The party also urged the law enforcers to give equivalent response if really crime has been committed and punish the guilty.
“As to Samvel Babayan’s office, we urge them to come to constructive field instead of blackmailing and making illegal statements and search ways out only in the margins of law,” the statement said.
Earlier Samvel Babayan’s office released a statement about being attacked by bands sponsored by former prime minister of Artsakhon Sevan-Martuni road sector at about 3.30 a.m. He claimed that fire was opened in the direction of their car.
