Armenia's government to offer solutions to North-South employees's issues in a month and half
Discussion was held today with representatives of the construction companies, deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and his consultant Varag Siseryan at the Armenian government over the issue of employees working on construction of North-South highway.
“We have presented our proposals and came to the conclusion that the government will present ways for solution of the issue in one and a half month,” lawyer of the construction organization Armen Sakapetoyan told the reporters after the discussion.
He said the government is conducting negotiations with Corsan Corviam company for the general or comprehensive solution of the issue.
“If the government has issues with the organization we asked not to engage us in them and find ways for the government to pay the construction companies,” Sakapetoyan said.
The representative said the actions will be stopped for this period and resume in case of unfavorable solution.
“As of now, we had a constructive discussion,” the lawyer said.
On May 30 employees of North-South closed the sector taking to Ujan community demanding meeting with members of the government.
They are demanding their salaries not paid for months.
