Vahe Grigoryan nominated for the post of Constitutional Court judge

It is already a year the president of Armenia has an authority to offer candidacies for the post of the Constitutional Court judge.

President’s press office reports that this responsible mission is being carried out by the president openly and democratically in correspondence to constitutional authorities, with the preservation of constitutional norms, on the basis of objectiveness.

The president this time nominated candidacy of Vahe Grigoryan, expressing hope that if elected he will contribute to the increase of efficiency of works of the Constitutional Court

The statement also says that considering the created situation and the experience of the past year, the president offers to discuss in future the issue of nominating candidacies by changing the procedures.

Vahe Grigoryan was already nominated in the post in October 2018 but was not elected.
