Vahe Grigoryan’s election not to mean sending an associate to Constitutional Court: NA speaker

If Vahe Grigoryan is elected judge of the Constitutional Court it will not mean sending an associate to the CC, National Assembly speaker Ararat Mirzoyan told the reporters today, asked to comment on nomination of Vahe Grigoryan by the president.

Vahe Grigoryan is Nikol Pashinyan’s close associate and teammate, he is also representative of the successors of victims of March 1 case and a stakeholder.

“I have close relations with Vahe Grigoryan from the years when we are organizing different movements in different weather conditions on different issues. When we were appearing in police departments different human rights advocates, including Vahe Grigoryan were there. I think it is normal that we managed to form close relations from that years,” he said adding that the same visions of the country’s development and the same dream are also important.

“Now you ask how I treat this candidacy, I will tell very frankly, extremely positive. As to the attitude of faction, it will be seen in near future,” he said.
