Armenia's Prosecutor General's office receives no official document from Czech Republic regarding Narek Sargsyan extradition
Armenia has not received any official document from Czech Republic in connection with the extradition of former president Serzh Sargsyan’s nephew Narek Sargsyan.
“There is nothing official as of now,” head of public relations department of Prosecutor General’s office Arevik Khachatryan told Aysor.am.
Yesterday Czech Tyden.cz website wrote that Prague city court has made a decision about Narek Sargsyan’s extradition. According to Czech legislation, the final decision is to be made by country’s justice minister.
Narek Sargsyan was discovered and arrested in Prague in 2018. He was holding a false passport with the name of Franklin Gonzalez.
Criminal case has been instituted against him on June 26 for illegal possession of ammunition, explosive materials, drugs etc.
