Both now and previously Armenian authorities were informing Artsakh leadership about process ahead of negotiations with Azerbaijan and after them
President of Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan referred in an interview to Artsakhpress news agency and Free Artsakh paper to the statement of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that during the ruling of former authorities Artsakh leadership was not aware of details of the negotiation process.
“You know, when Nikol Pashinyan assumed the post of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the negotiation process was one of the prior issue of our discussion. I can describe them as frank and principle and I have many times stated about it,” Bako Sahakyan said.
“Recently Armenia’s Prime Minister handed us some documents about the negotiation process, and we on our part handed to the PM the package of documents we have. In general both now and previously ahead of the negotiations with Azerbaijan and after them the authorities of Armenia were informing the leadership of Artsakh about the discussed issues and developments,” Sahakyan said, stressing that the best opportunity to avoid speculations is the restoration of the full format of negotiations with participation of Artsakh.
Earlier Armenia’s PM stated that Artsakh authorities were not aware of negotiation details as the former authorities were not informing them about its pace. Pashinyan claimed that he was the one to hand documents about negotiations to Artsakh party.
