Anti-corruption court to be created in Armenia soon: Armenia’s PM
The decision to block courts was aimed at showing that I have no relation to this judicial system, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the reporters today.
“Do not put the responsibility on me. I have no relation to it. But if the public does so and states about the launch of self-cleaning process in the judicial system, time for political decision comes,” Pashinyan said, adding that he cannot ignore people’s message which means that their political team and parliament must start taking the responsibility.
He said in near future anti-corruption court will be created.
“It is many times stated why we have not undertaken judicial reforms. Without serious raise of judges’ salaries we cannot have independent judicial system. I do not need marionette court as I believe in the ideals on the basis of which we made changes in Armenia,” the Prime Minister stated.
