Armenia’s ties with Iran created conditions for EAEU-Iran cooperation: Zohrab Mnatsakanyan
Thanks to Armenia the EAEU had an opportunity to boost the development of the foreign economic element, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said at the NA today at the discussion dedicated to Armenia’s presidency in the EAEU.
“Thanks to Armenia additional impetus was given to the development of the union’s foreign economic element. Armenia’s economic and political ties with Iran created conditions for the EAEU to enter Eastern region as a result free trade zone agreement has been signed,” he said.
The minister said the free trade zone will result on reduction of customs fees for import of products which will result in the increase of the volume of mutual trade turnover.
“The completion of negotiations with China, Singapore, Serbia, Egypt and India may become an additional impetus for the union’s integration into world economy,” he added.
