Russia’s president visit to Armenia expected in sidelines of EAEU Economic Council session
Russia has rated high the visit of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Moscow, Russia’s ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin said at a news conference today.
“Russia has attached great significance to the visit of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Moscow in the beginning of the year during which Armenia’s priorities during its presidency in EAEU were presented,” the ambassador said.
He stressed that in October 2019 EAEU Supreme Economic Council’s session will take place in Armenia with the participation of leaders of the EAEU member states.
“Naturally we expect the visit of Russia’s president to Armenia as well,” Kopirkin said.
The ambassador also stressed that Armenia-Russia relations continue developing stably and are on the high level.
