If I have conspired with foreign forces I must be convicted: Armenia’s PM
In neither of spheres I am going to get used to the used to be realities, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Shant TV.
Was the issue to become a prime minister?! I am sorry, but I will consider it an offense to me and the citizens who elected me in the post of Armenia's Prime Minister. In neither of the sectors I am going to get used to the realities that used to be. He came when it was so and goes and it is again so,” he said.
“There are such realities, “ok, it was a revolution, we had fun, elections succeeded, everything is ok, let’s not make it all serious.” No, it is all very serious. There will be no unprincipled compromises in neither of the sectors, there will be no mercantile calculations, no political trade,” the Prime Minister stressed.
Pashinyan also noted that if he is conspired with any foreign force he must be convicted.
“In a remote village, a villager is sitting in front of his television and learns that this authorities are conspired with foreign forces to do something. He took it into consideration but how should he learn whether it is true or not? This is a serious issue as if it is really so, if I have really plotted something with foreign forces I must be convicted,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister also referred to the discussions that the Armenian government makes decisions under the influence of foreign forces and with their instructions.
“If it is so, this government and the prime minister have no right to stay under the Armenian flag. But a person does not know whether it is right or not. How can he know?” the prime minister said.
As to file a lawsuit against such claims, Pashinyan said, “There were such cases, and they say, “see they are exerting pressure on freedom of speech, they are pursuing political opponents, look this is your revolution of love and reconciliation”,” Pashinyan said.
