Gyumri’s customs clearance office to have wider opportunities: Armenia’s PM
Bright Armenia faction member Mane Tandilyan asked Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at government-NA Q&A about the process of moving Noragavit car customs clearance office from Yerevan to Gyumri.
“To bring any assignment and idea into life we need time and procedures – covering roads with asphalt, construction,” the prime minister said.
He noted that they have discussed strategy with the State Revenue Committee which includes idea of opening foreign economic activity centers.The territory has already been selected in Gyumri. A customs clearance office with wider opportunities will be built there,” he said, stressing that they expect to build another one in Sisian.
The head of the government said the Gyumri office will not be similar to Noragavit. “There will be more serious investments. Projecting process has already started,” he said.
