Newly elected CC judge, gives oath, hopes to bring into life his vision of CC
Newly elected judge of Armenia’s Constitutional Court Vahe Grigoryan gave an oath today in the NA. Before it he delivered a short speech saying that it is a great honor for him to assume the office of the judge of the CC, stressing that he is elected by the parliament formed with the expression of will of the people.
He said after assuming the post he will engage in the solution of all the issues discussing them with his colleagues.
He said after he assumes the post there will be two Constitutional Court judges.
He urged everyone to exclude any possibility of pressures on members of the Constitutional Court or its staff.
Grigoryan also said that after assuming the position he will leave all his ties and arrangements he had previously while working as a lawyer in the NA hall.
“I will consider myself dismissed from all the previous interests. In this position I will pursue just one goal fixed in my oath speech. I hope to bring into life my vision of the Constitutional Court,” he said, hoping to have consent of CC members.
After the speech Grigoryan gave an oath to ensure the rule of Constitution, act independently, objectively and be loyal to the high title of the judge of the Constitutional Court.
